Radhika and Sachin

Radhika and Sachin’s wedding was the epitome of modern elegance. Just looking at the décor and Radhika’s choice of bridal wear sent chills down my spine. This wedding literally emphasized the saying,” Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

“For me, our wedding day was quite easily the best day of my life! Just thinking back on it makes me feel so nostalgic. From the months leading up to and planning for it, to all the celebrations with friends and family during the week. It was amazing! “- Radhika

Radhika shared with us the following:

How they met:

My husband and I met while we were in high school through mutual friends. We exchanged numbers but went on with our own lives. It was only in our first year of varsity that we picked up again and became really close. Through some perseverance on his part, we started dating soon after and the rest, as they say, is history. We dated for 4 years before he popped the question and 2 years later we tied the knot.

He is my best friend and absolute comfort. “

Planning the big day:

Planning our wedding was really fun but also quite stressful. I didn’t realise how much work was actually required for planning a wedding. Thankfully my sister- in-law, who married my brother just a year before, helped me plan and got things going. My husband and I had quite similar ideas in terms of what we wanted so it made things a bit easier. We knew we wanted a garden wedding and wanted it to be simple yet elegant. We were really happy with how everything turned out, including the beautiful weather, which made everything that much more perfect.

Treasured memories:

Some of my best memories include feeling all the love and joy from all our friends and family. I appreciated that the day was about celebrating us and our love for each other. It was the beginning of our new chapter and I am so grateful to everyone that made it so special.

“Words are not enough to express the unconditional love that exists between a mother and a daughter.” -Radhika and her mum on her wedding day
A sister is the gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit and a golden thread to the meaning of life.”- Radhika and her brother on her wedding day

Advice for brides and grooms to be:

My advice to any future brides and grooms is to plan ahead, delegate and don’t stress about the small things. You’ll get so many opinions from everyone about different things but do what makes you both happy. It is your day after all. You need to be open to some compromising but go with the flow and enjoy every moment!
